Moving into a new space is always exciting. But when it’s the heart of your creative world, the place where sketches become planners, and where packaging becomes a ritual and it’s so much more than that.
We’re beyond excited to share that our little stationery business has officially moved into a brand-new studio. And honestly? It feels like the beginning of something really special.
Four years ago, I was a graphic designer with a big idea, a small desk in my bedroom, and more planner samples than drawers to store them in.
Back then, I never imagined the journey would lead here: a bright, calm, purpose-built studio where I now get to create and send thoughtful paper goods to people across the world.
Our stationery business began almost by accident. As a graphic designer, I was always sketching layouts and designing for others, but I longed to create something physical. Something I could hold, package, and send out into the world.
I designed my first daily planner 'one day at a time' daily planner in 2020. It is still to this day one of our best selling planner. It wasn’t perfect that time, but I managed to update better version in later years.
The first few orders trickled in through our little Etsy shop. It was back when we didn’t even have a website.
Eventually, we outgrew the bedroom setup. In 2022, we moved into a tiny workshop studio. It was cramped, but it gave me space to grow and experiment. It became the ground for new designs, packaging, and even product photography.
But now, it’s time for the next chapter.
Our new studio is bigger than the last one and it finally feels like everything has room to breathe. There’s natural light (an actual window!), proper workstations, and storage that doesn’t double as furniture.
It’s a little slice of calm in a busy studio. There’s a corner just for brainstorming, another for assembling and packing, and my favourite spot: a small shelf filled with notebooks from past collections, a reminder of how far our little stationery business has come.
Why This Move Matters for Our Stationery Business
It was a scary decision to commit to a new space, especially with the ever-changing economy and the uncertainty small businesses face every day. But deep down, we knew it was essential. Not just for growth, but for sustainability, creativity, and the future we’re building here. Having a bigger studio isn’t about having more “stuff.” It’s about creating better flow for creativity, for logistics, and for the people we serve. Here’s how it changes things:
-
Better organisation = better products. Every tool and material now has a home.
-
More space to create. I’ve started sketching again. Something I missed when I was boxed in. New products are already in the works!
-
Improved turnaround time. With dedicated packing areas, we can ship faster without compromising quality.
Lessons from Moving Three Times
This is the third time we’ve packed up my business and moved into a new studio and each space has left its mark in a very different way.
The bedroom taught me hustle.
It was where everything began. I had a tiny desk squeezed next to my bed, worked odd hours, and packed orders on the floor. That space taught me how to make the most of what I had and how to keep showing up, even when things felt small and scrappy.
The workshop taught me structure.
That little studio was the first space that felt “official.” It gave me the room to take this business seriously and to create systems, test designs, and start seeing our planners and journals not just as passion projects, but as meaningful tools for people’s lives. It helped me understand how much intention goes into turning an idea into a real, functional product.
This new studio is teaching me to dream again.
For the first time in a long time, I don’t feel boxed in both physically or creatively. There’s space to move, space to think, space to breathe. I find myself sketching and designing again just for the joy of it. It’s also a reminder that small progress is still progress.
As someone who built this stationery business from scratch, I’ve always been conscious of not losing the personal touch as it grows. Every order is still hand-checked. Every design is still designed in-house by me. The difference now is that we can do it more efficiently and with less back pain.
The move also means we can share more behind-the-scenes moments with you. Follow along on Instagram to see the real-life mess and magic.

Thank You (Truly)

It’s easy to feel small in a world of mass production. But this space, this business, and this journey have grown entirely from the support of a real, heartfelt community. Thank you for being part of it.
